30
Maccabi–Hapoel, Partizan–Dubai
5 March 2026
Two EuroLeague Round 30 games have been postponed: the Tel Aviv derby between Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv and Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv, and the clash between Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade and Dubai Basketball. Both were set for Thursday 5 March 2026. Below we look at why these postponements matter for the standings and the play-in race, and what to expect when the games are rescheduled.
Which games were postponed?
Maccabi–Hapoel (19:05 local) was to be the first of two blockbuster derbies in Round 30—the Tel Aviv derby, with Maccabi (14–15) hosting Hapoel (17–11). Partizan–Dubai (19:30) was to pit Partizan (9–20) at home against Dubai (15–14). New dates have not yet been announced; EuroLeague and the clubs will confirm rescheduled fixtures in line with the competition regulations.
Impact on the standings
With nine rounds left, every result counts. Hapoel sit fifth at 17–11 (+88) and are in the mix for a top-six finish; Maccabi are 13th at 14–15 and need wins to stay in the play-in conversation. The derby would have been crucial for both. Dubai (15–14, 11th) are one win outside the top eight; Partizan (9–20, −227) are fighting to climb out of the bottom group. Postponing these two games leaves the table with two results still to be played, so the final order in the middle and lower tiers will depend in part on when and how these fixtures are made up.
Round 30 as it stands
The rest of Round 30 goes ahead as planned. On Thursday 5 March: Fenerbahce–Monaco (17:45), Real Madrid–Virtus Bologna (19:45), Valencia–Zalgiris (19:30), and Milan–Barcelona (19:30). On Friday 6 March: Olympiacos–Panathinaikos (19:15), Crvena Zvezda–Bayern (19:00), Efes–ASVEL (17:30), and Baskonia–Paris (19:30).

What’s next
Once new dates for Maccabi–Hapoel and Partizan–Dubai are confirmed, they will be slotted into the calendar in line with arena availability, travel and the rest of the EuroLeague schedule. Until then, the standings reflect only completed games—so Maccabi, Hapoel, Partizan and Dubai each have one fewer game played than the rest of the league for Round 30. When the make-up games are played, the results will feed straight into the table and the play-in race. We’ll update with rescheduled dates as soon as they are announced.
